Its Orions Belt!

BEAUTIFUL Isnt it!Can anyone tell me what this constellation is called?
yup orion's belt, but it's a winter constellation, it's not up all year round, you've been seeing it for autumn and winter
It almost certainly sounds like Orion's belt. If you look up and down you'll notice another two stars above and two below making like an hour glass figure, which is the whole of the constellation of Orion, the great hunter.

The 3 stars in the belt are a good sign-post. If you follow the belt down they point to Sirius (the brightest star in the Northern hemisphere) in the constellation of Canis Major, his hunting dog, and in the other direction gives you Aldebran (the eye of the bull in Taurus). Taurus is 'V' shaped.
