No. In fact it is one the most very difficult objects in the sky visually. I've been observing for over 50 years, have observed over 600 deep sky objects, yet I have seen the Horsehead Nebula only once, with an 18-inch telescope, and even then I wasn't 100% sure I'd seen it. It requires perfectly dark skies, excellent optics, and a special hydrogen beta filter. It has been seen with optics as small as 20x80 binoculars. Is the horsehead nebula of the Orion constellation visible with the naked eye?NO,I have a 10" but I can't see it from my home as i live in city as it is so faint and red in colour makes it even fainter for human eyes and you need god dark skies and filters and good camera and exposure to see it.Is the horsehead nebula of the Orion constellation visible with the naked eye?
No, it is simply not bright enough. Also the horse-head feature of it is extremely tiny: 8 x 6 minutes of arc or 0.13掳 x 0.1掳 It is thus only about 7% of the size of the full moon.Is the horsehead nebula of the Orion constellation visible with the naked eye? It's also very small as seen from Earth. For most amateur observers, it's best observed photographically if you can do that.Is the horsehead nebula of the Orion constellation visible with the naked eye?
Well, ..., no. This, object is very difficult to see in a 10" telescope let alone with the naked eye.Is the horsehead nebula of the Orion constellation visible with the naked eye?It require a moderate telescope to see horse head.Is the horsehead nebula of the Orion constellation visible with the naked eye?
No. Unfortunately, it's too faint. In fact, it generally requires a 10" or so scope, and dark skies.
No, it's too faint. Even with a good telescope it requires perfect conditions.
