What constellation is this?

Today is April 26, 2009, and it's Sunday.

Not that I know of at all. Hmmmm a perfect pentagon formation with stars? And all of them being THAT bright as well? I sereously doubt these are ordinary stars, everyday stars, or stars at all....

This is interesting, if it turn's out not to have ever been a constellation then report it to somewhere.

I've been searching up pentagon constellation's and nothing is turning up, O.OAre these stars I saw tonight in a constellation? That looks like the Winter Hexagon asterism. It consists of the stars Capella, Aldeberan, Castor/Pollux, Procyon, Rigel, and Sirius. Are these stars I saw tonight in a constellation?
I was at a boy scout camp this weekend and was asked a similar question concerning that very grouping of stars. It is the constellation Auriga. Are these stars I saw tonight in a constellation? That looks very much like the constellation Auriga, which is currently in the west around 9 p.m. from mid-northern latitudes. Are these stars I saw tonight in a constellation?
