So your sign is based on which constellation the sun rises in front of on your birthday, right?

But the wobble of the earth causes this to change every thousand years or so... so why do you care? It changes all the time.

In a thousand years the Sagitarriuses will be Scorpios, and in 500 years, they won't be anything because the sun will rise in between those two...

So why do you care about this stuff? So your sign is based on which constellation the sun rises in front of on your birthday, right? It was stupid when Bill Nye said it and it's stupid when you say it... Astrology is based on the cycles of the four seasons. The distinct pattern and timing of the seasons never change. So your sign is based on which constellation the sun rises in front of on your birthday, right?
i dont belive in it, but its interesting to see how wrong horoscopes are. i like reading how im supposed to be and then laughing at how different i am. of course horoscopes and the zodiac is all made up BS crap, but still, its interesting. like watching tv or reading a book, its just another way to entertain myself when im bored.

anyone who believes in astrology seriously, is well, c'mon its kinda ridiculous haha.So your sign is based on which constellation the sun rises in front of on your birthday, right?1,000 years.....................People are researching on astrology in the present time. It's been updated. and I'm sure there is no one on earth that is 1,000 years oldSo your sign is based on which constellation the sun rises in front of on your birthday, right?
Primarily for sure, you better choose yourselfSo your sign is based on which constellation the sun rises in front of on your birthday, right?According to the boundaries for the constellations adopted by the International Astronomical Union (this is the group that names space objects) in 1921, there are 13 signs of the zodiac instead of the usual 12; time from Ophiuchus the snake handler is usually included in time given to Scorpius. If you already know your astrological sign from reading an astrology column in a newspaper or from consultation with an astrologer, you may be surprised that few of these dates correspond to the dates listed in the newspaper's astrological column. Why? Generally, listed astrological signs and the dates given by most astrologers assume that you were born around 140 AD.

Constellations are different in size, some larger than others. The current sky looks like this:

PISCES March 14 - April 19 The first day of spring, the vernal equinox, occurs when the sun is in Pisces on March 20

ARIES April 20 - May 15

TAURUS May 16 - June 21 The first day of the summer the summer solstice, occurs when the sun is exactly on the border between Taurus and Gemini on June 21.

GEMINI June 22 - July 21

CANCER July 22 - August 10

LEO August 11 - September 17

VIRGO September 18 - October 31 The first day of fall, the autumnal equinox, occurs when the sun is in Virgo on September 23

LIBRA November 1 - November 24

SCORPIUS November 25 - November 30

OPHIUCHUS December 1 - December 18

SAGITTARIUS December 19 - January 20 The first day of winter, the winter solstice, occurs when the sun is in Sagittarius on December 21.

CAPRICORNUS January 21 - February 16

AQUARIUS February 17 - March 13

The earth spins and wobbles like a top. It is the reason that there is a north pole star in the sky right now. We are two thousand years off from what the Romans observed. Also the Romans were about the same time off from the Babylonians.

But remember astrology is fortune telling, not astronomy. The modern astrologers do not observe the skies like the ancients did. Nothing is found by astrologers any more. All they do when a object in space is discovered is assign stereotypes. Astronomy and astrology. The former is evidence based science. The later is belief based magical thinking. Don't get the two confused.
