Where and when is the best time to see the constellation from my position here in Warsaw, Poland. Identify the time, direction and altitude to look to see this constellation. If it is not visible from Poland, where is the best location to view this constellation?
THANK YOU:)Where can I see the Cetus constellation? You can see it from Poland, but Cetus is mainly a fall constellation. Although, if you look early enough, it will probably be setting in the west. Cetus is very hard to find and is "dull". However, to find Alpha Ceti, locate Aldebaran and the Pleiades in Taurus and draw an approximate isosoles triangle downward until you reach a redish star. This will not be easy to find, but give it a try. That is the top of Cetus; the rest of the constellation will be touch to see now. At around 9, it should be at about 40 degrees altitude.Where can I see the Cetus constellation?Cetus is low in the southwest just after sunset in Warsaw. It really is best placed in the fall, and is now probably too low to be observed readily.
