I mean is it necessary. If they need a couple billion dollars a year to explore more of space and possibly land on Mars then why not provide them with the money, instead of giving them $1 billion dollars and then spending ridiculously on social programs that don't improve science or technology. Why is Obama cutting back funds on NASA's Constellation program?Their right, there's no short term profit on space exploration. And your country is in dire need of sorting itself out in terms of debt and economic crisis.
Sadly you guys can't afford to be the forefront leaders in space exploration anymore. You'll have to outsource now and leave it to the Russians.
What is most depressing about it is that lots of jobs will be lost as a result of this cancellation (something which I thought you guys were trying to prevent not encourage)
Ah well, I suppose we didn't need to go to the future of space exploration anyway. (Carl Sagan must be turning in his grave)Why is Obama cutting back funds on NASA's Constellation program?Apparently nobody likes science unless Bill Nye is talking about it.Why is Obama cutting back funds on NASA's Constellation program? In a sentence? Because there's no short-term profit in space exploration. Why is Obama cutting back funds on NASA's Constellation program?
he has no sense that's why
