Anyone know the name of the constellation of the three stars that appear in a row at night?

i see them everynight i take my dog out. they appear in a row like a stright line. that how you can tell them apart from the other stars. wondering their namesAnyone know the name of the constellation of the three stars that appear in a row at night?I'm guessing you are looking at Orion (since it is the right time of year to see it).

There's more to Orion than those three stars that make up his belt but they are the easiest to spot.

Orion is considered the second most easily recognizable constellation behind the Big Dipper (or maybe first...both are easy to spot...Big Dipper is a summer constellation assuming you are in the northern hemisphere).

EDIT: On review you asked for the names of those three stars. Assuming you are looking at Orion then they are: Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka (never heard of them myself...just looked it up).Anyone know the name of the constellation of the three stars that appear in a row at night?
