Probably you want to know the _named_ stars in Triangulum, in which case the best place to start is the Wikipedia article on Triangulum. You can also make a good guess of the number of stars from the NAME of the constellation.Anybody Know How Many Stars The Constellation "Triangulum" has, and their Names? There are some pretty good catalogs out there, but all of them are limited. Usually the compilers use a "limiting magnitude" where they only include stars brighter than that value, but there are more stars out there "beyond" the limiting magnitude.
Almost always you can count the stars, and a while later newer technology lets someone else count more stars in the same constellation. Consider the Hubble Deep Field and Ultra Deep Field pictures. And, do you want to count the stars that are in galaxies and clusters within the constellation? Still more stars, and we can't even do this well with our current "toys".
All three of the brightest stars in this constellation are double stars, and there is a galaxy (M33) that can be seen by the naked eye on dark nights in dark places. Binoculars can help with that, but you don't want or need a lot of magnification, just the light gathering. In addition, there are lots more dim stars. Rather than quoting something or copying it, look at the link below:Anybody Know How Many Stars The Constellation "Triangulum" has, and their Names? Here is the list of 19 stars visible to naked eye (till magn.6):

Alpha Trianguli* only has a proper name, 'Metallah', which is a triple star system.
Star is identified by Bayer's nomenclature (Alpha, beta etc) where available, if not 'Flamsteed' number is given; in the absence of both (HD) number in brackets, is given.Anybody Know How Many Stars The Constellation "Triangulum" has, and their Names? Here you go! :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sta鈥?/a>
28 stars listed there, but there are obviously a lot more stars that haven't been catalogued or even discovered yet.Anybody Know How Many Stars The Constellation "Triangulum" has, and their Names?
