Did old astronomers beleive that the full moon marked the beginning, middle or end of opposite constellation?

why so for this?

and when and where did they do this?

Did old astronomers beleive that the full moon marked the beginning, middle or end of opposite constellation? Is this an astrology question? I don't quite understand what your asking. If it's an astronomy question, you might want to put it in another category. If it's an astrology question, the full moon has nothing to do with beginning, middle or end of a constellation; The moon has the four stages : new moon, waxing moon, full moon, waning moon. It travels within the constellations at any of these stages, without regard for what position it is in... Hope this makes sense...Did old astronomers beleive that the full moon marked the beginning, middle or end of opposite constellation?Your question does not make any sense. The Full Moon marked the middle of the calendar month, though...is that what you mean?
