I prefer Cygnus. On warm summer nights, she flies with her wings spread across the star fields of the Milky Way and her neck stretched toward the bright center of the galaxy. Her head is a brilliant blue and gold double star, her tail is the North American Nebula, and one of her wings brushes back the Veil Nebula. What more could you ask for in one constellation? What is your favorite constellation in the night sky? That would be clearly Orion for its magnificent shape and its plenty and diversity of objects that can be seen in it/near it with my amateur telescope.
2nd place for me goes to Cassiopeia.
3rd place the Plejades. Okay that is debatably not a constellation but anyway....What is your favorite constellation in the night sky?
It is the one I happen to be looking at. But for most spectacle, I like Sagittarius. What is your favorite constellation in the night sky?Being in the northern hemisphere I am into Cassiopeia. She chases Cepheus around the north star - Polaris.
I like wandering around Cassiopeia and looking at things with my telescopes. What is your favorite constellation in the night sky? There are no constellations. What is your favorite constellation in the night sky?
Orion

Orion
Big dipper...it's really the only one I can find by myself.
Orion. It's bright and easy to find in the sky.
I think that they're all pretty awesome.
